NEW HOPE BIBLE BAPTIST CHURCH was established in 1995 by God and a small group of believers. New Hope held its first church service on October 1, at the Henderson Community Center followed by winter services at the Beech Hill Community Center. The people desired a place to grow and God provided the property at 3 Robinson Street, Point Pleasant, West Virginia. The building was converted from a garage into a house of worship and was dedicated to the Glory of God on February 11, 1996. God has led the believers through many changes and has blessed the church with growth. Our most exciting blessing occurred in October of 2000 with the hiring of our first full-time pastor. We look to the future with faith in what God will do through us and strive to always be in His Will. God bless.
In July 2001 with our sanctuary overflowing the Lord led us to build a new one. The people of the church took that step of faith and voted to build a larger sanctuary. Ground breaking was August 3, 2001 and construction began on August 6, 2001. Our Open House and Dedication was held Saturday, December 15, 2001.
The Lord continues to bless New Hope by increasing our loving, dedicated church family. |
